Hi everyone, as at the time of writing this hub, i am 4 days old in hubpages. So please do not mind if i get few things wrong. I stand, i mean i sit to be corrected.
I have ran from one online pillar to another website post searching for how to make online income. I made a few cents in some online programs after 6 months, the other online writing program i managed to earn $16 after 5 months. I would not mention the names of these programs because i am a bit emotional right now. Sorry about that.
These online programs are all said to be web 2.0, where you write and publish articles for a shared revenue.
I first visited hubpages around mid May 2011, i read some hubs, but i was a bit confuse with the name 'hub' and capsules and i ran as far as my click could take me. After writing more than 100 articles on other online programs i mentioned earlier and earning what i earned above. I sat myself down and asked me, what was it that hubpages did to me, that i left so fast without saying at least goodbye.

Easy Way I Made $0.02 Money On Hubpages
On the 23rd November 2011, my web plane landed me once more on hubpages website, this time around i came with my luggage that contains all the information for each and every hub i'm going to create, but first, i needed to familiarize myself with my new online abode. i spent 23rd and 24th of November 2011 on hubpages, getting to know whois and what is.
After equipping myself with at least 40% of useful information, i finally said yes to hubpages, and i registered on the 25th Nov. I wrote my first hub on that faithful night, and earn $0.02 next day. Victory, victory victory!.

I Made $0.30 In Three Days On Hubpages
When i woke up on the 26th Nov. 2011, and saw the $0.02 on my hubpages account, i realized this is a money making potential. I couldn't believe it. I earned $0.32 after three months of joining the other online program i mentioned earlier. So for me to earn $0.02 overnight was a positive shock to me.
On the 26th Nov.2011, i created three more hubs as i read that my one hub was lonely. I earned $0.10 for the three hubs. This means between 25th and 26th Nov i earned $0.12 writing four hubs.
I could only write one hub on the 27th Nov. That earned me $0.04. Adding up to $0.16 in three days. I don't mind what anybody would say, but i'm telling myself that i must be doing something right. Right?
I earned $0.14 on the 28th Nov. writing three hubs, adding up to $0.30 in four days. WOW!
29th Nov. earning = $0.12 writing 2 hubs. Total in five days hubbing is now $0.42 writing a total of 10 hubs.
30th Nov. earning =$0.18 for 2 hubs. Total earnings is now $0.60 writing 12 hubs.
1st December earning = $0.07 for two hubs. I did not use enough keywords to write the articles. Still testing what works and what doesn't. Total earning is now $0.67 for 14 hubs and about 201 page views so far.
2nd Dec = $0.05 for two hubs.
3rd and 4th Dec earning = $0.06 and $0.07 respectively, i did not write any article on these days as i was doing a bit of testing what is working. This is what i found out: after writing and publishing my hubs, i need to update my hubs individually. I found out that after a day or two of publication, my hubs became very quiet, i mean there was no visitors. So i decided to update all the 15 hubs and within an hour i had 17 new online visitors visiting my hubs.

I plan to write as many articles (hubs) as possible. What i've done so far is researching any article topic before writing.
These are the steps i always take:
- If i have an idea about a broad topic, for example, 'domain'. Note that this is a topic i know about.
- Check keywords for that topic. From the list of keywords, i will select the topic based on that keyword.
- Then get the rest keywords, say about 8 to 15 keywords for a 600 words hub.
- Googled the keywords to see how others are searching for it.
- Organize the points based on the keywords, say about 7 to 8 points for the sub titles.
- Then write the article, i always include Amazon or eBay Capsule or both
- I have registered with some forums related to some of the topics i write about
- After writing and publishing the article, i plan to sign in to the forums and possibly leave the links to some of my hubs.
Promoting My Hubs On Hubpages
There are many ways i will be using to promote my hubs in hubpages.
I will tweet the summary of any hub i want to promote and link my to my hubs.

I just Earn My First $2.93 In 2 weeks On Hubpages
After 20 hubs in 11 days with about 250 page views, i finally can count in notes. Just earn my first one dollar note, in fact, it is actually $1.10. Hurray!!! There's hope.
On 8the Dec. 2011 my earning totaled $1.24 with 24 hubs and 300 page views.
Total earning is now $1.45 on the 9th Dec. 2011 for 13 days.
10th Dec 2011 earning total for two weeks = $1.65
11th Dec 2011 earning total for two weeks = $1.84
Today's earning, 13th dec 2011 is $2.02 in total for two weeks, with 30 hubs.
15th dec 2011 earning = $2.50 in total for 31 hubs.
16th dec 2011 earning total for 33 hubs is $2.93 and about 700 page views.

I Make $10.33 in 2 Months
Well, this is my updated capsule of how i'm earning extra money on hubpages. Although, i was not so active in posting new hubs in December due to the festive period. I started writing fully in January 13th, 2012.
All my earnings from Nov.25, 2011 to Feb.7, 2012 is $10.33.
I have not done any promotion for the hubs. The time is just not enough to do that. I have just been lucky to have major search engines bring in traffic naturally. As at today 7th of January, 2012, i have about 2,679 page views in total.
Earn $17.92 In 3 Months - 24/02/2012
I just reached 5003 page views overall today and about 248 a day page views, the highest i've ever seen in a day.
30/04/2012 - Reach My First Payout
Within five months, i have reached my first hubpages ads program earning payout of about $85 plus. It is amazing. The feeling is great. Keep you posted till my $1000 earning. If i can do it, you can too.

Great hub bizwin and a nice record of your achievements starting out at Hubpages, I think many newbie’s will find them encouraging and useful. This could be a great starting hub which you could follow up at a later date, to see how your progression has grown; the data will be very useful for yourself and for others, so great idea.

I agree this is all about potential future earnings. It would be very discouraging to look at the first few months and wonder if it was all worth it. I write because I love to write and I love interacting with my readers. The earnings are just a bonus and I see HubPages as a springboard to other earnings from other sources. Good hub!

Nice hub here, even though its tough to read starting out. I like your experience you've described here, and help me to get an idea as to how others are performing when they've first began on hubpages.
I got started about 6 months back myself, and have yet to see huge earnings, but this network is about earning passively, as opposed to a get rich quick scheme, and with that said it is possible over a long period of time to earn a respectable monthly revenue from article writing on hubpages. You must be doing something right. I have been a member for a little over two months and have only written 15 hubs. I don't know how some of you are so prolific with your writing. I think it's great that you are making a chronical of your Hubpages journey. I have bookmarked this to follow along as inspiration to keep on keeping on. I admire a person who see's the potential! When looking at it in percentages of growth it actually becomes amazing. Corporations struggle to gain a 5% growth rate. You are surpassing that with a glance. Whether it is an ember or a roaring fire, hope is hope, and fortunes have been made on hope, risk, and faith.
That's a good start as well. Keep writing more articles and read how others are doing it too.
As of me, I have been earning $0.01 for my first 2 days :D
As at now i don't know how to. Maybe there is a way of doing that. I only track the total earning of the day before. But i know how many viewers per day generate the traffic.
Can you track your income in relation to specific hubs, thus seeing which hubs are generating the most money?

This happens to so many people with google adsense. Please don't give up. You can get a domain name for your blog, if you're not using one. You can buy a domain name from google as well, i think it's about $10 to register your domain name. It may help. Keep hubbing, one day, you'll earn pennies, that will turn to dollars and then tens of thousands of dollars. Good luck!
This Hub is funny. I am new to Hubpages and have not made any money. I made the mistake of trying to open my Google Adsense account on my other blog, but got refused b/c not enough traffic. So, now HubPages thinks I have this "disapproved" google ad account. I'm still learning and will get it figured out. Glad you are making a few pennies!
